Day 01 : Delhi

Arrive Delhi. Assistance and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Hotel.

Day 02 : Delhi

Full day sightseeing tour of Old & New Delhi visiting the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Parliament House, Birla Mandir, Memorials to Nehru and Gandhi. Later visit the Qutab Minar, Humayuns Tomb, etc. Overnight in hotel.

Day : 03 Delhi / Varanasi

Morning transfer to airport to connect flight IC 806 dep. 11:00 hrs. / arr. Varanasi at 12:15 hrs. On arrival check into the hotel. Afternoon excursion to Sarnath, where Lord Buddha preached his first sermon. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 04 : Varanasi

Morning early depart for a boat ride on the Holy River Ganges viewing the sunrise and the religions rites being performed on the River bank. After breakfast leave for full day sightseeing visiting Bharat Mata Temple, Durga Temple, Tulsi Manas and the Banaras Hindu University. Overnight in Hotel.

Day 05 : Varanasi / Bodhgaya

Morning depart by surface for Bodhgaya (243 kms / 7 hrs drive) the place where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment. On arrival check into the hotel. Afternoon Visit Bodhgaya Temple. Overnight in hotel.

Day 06 : Bodhgaya / Patna

Morning depart by surface for Rajgir (70 kms / 2 hrs.) Visit the Vulture Hill, World Peace Stupa and Bamboo’s Garden. Later drive to Nalanda (14 kms) and visit one of the oldest Universities of the world & International Centre of Buddhist Studies. Continue drive to Patna (145 kms / 4 hrs). Check into hotel for overnight stay.

Day 07 : Patna / Calcutta

Morning Patna Sahib & Patna Museum. Later transfer to airport to connect flight for Calcutta. Rest day free for leisure. Overnight in Hotel.

Day 08 : Varanasi Sightseeing

Varanasi is a city in which you see a different world. Though it is a typical Hindu city you see here a cosmopolitan air. Today in the early morning you enjoy a boat cruise on the Holy River Ganga. If you do believe in Hindu spiritualism, take a holy bath as it is said that Ganga has the power to cleanse sins of life. Have a look on the Life and Death circle. In one side you will the prosperity of life and in other side the cremation of the dead.

Then you take your breakfast. After breakfast, you set out your excursion tour to Sarnath which is 10 kilometers away from Varanasi. Sarnath is a Buddhist pilgrimage center and it is here that Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon after attaining enlightenment.

Then you visit the Benaras Hindu University in support of our guide. Explore the Museum of the university which has a wide collection of artifacts and paintings.

Visit the Aurangzeb?s Mosque and drive back to the hotel. If you have zeal again today visit the ghats to witness evening Aarti. After dinner, stay overnight.

Day 09 : Varanasi-Delhi (By flight)
Today you bid farewell to Varanasi as you are transferred to the airport for your flight to Delhi where you board your home bound flight.

Day 10 : Darjeeling
Early in the morning drive up to Tiger Hill (9000 ft) to see the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Everest and Kanchenjunga, visiting the Ghoom Monastery on return. Later visit the Himalayan mountaineering Institute and a local tea garden..

Day 11 : Darjeeling – Kalimpong
Morning depart for Kalimpong (51 kms / 1 ? hrs). On arrival check in the hotel. Afternoon, visit local monasteries and flower nurseries. Overnight in hotel.

Day 12 : Kalimpong – Gangtok

In the morning after breakfast visit Dello Hills and Dr. Graham`s Home and a Flower Nursery. In the afternoon drive from Kalimpong to Gangtok (85 kms / 3 hrs). Overnight in Hotel.

Day 13 : Gangtok
This morning take sightseeing tour that will cover Rumtek Monastery, Deer Park, Droul Chorthen, Research Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom and Enchey Monastery. The afternoon is free for you to explore Gangtok on your own. Overnight in Hotel.

Day 14 : Gangtok
In Gangtok.For a truly unforgettable experience, visit the sacred and serence Tshangu Lake (3780 m, 12400 ft). The lake remains frozen for the greater part of the year and comes alive during May to August when rhododendrons, iris, primulas, and poppies burst into bloom on its banks. Overnight in hotel.

Day 15 : Gangtok- Bagdogra – Calcutta
Morning depart by surface for Bagdogra (115 kms / 4 ? hrs) and connect flight for Calcutta. On arrival transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 16 : Depart Calcutta
Transfer to the airport for departure for onward destination (hotel check out 12:00 hrs)
